Rocawear clothing line was founded by Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter, a multi-platinum Hip Hop and rap star. His music had already evolved as a culture among the youth and he wanted to venture into something else, beyond the culture of music. Though it was initially established to cater for the street fashion requirements of the young, the company has succeeded beyond that and today their designs find a take from the vibrant at heart from all walks of life.
Alright, now seriously, with names like Jay-Z and Damon Dash associated with any brand, one simply cannot expect any less from them. Rocawear is an urban clothing brand which has an annual turnover of approximately 700 million dollars, how do you like them apples…Okay okay, we will turn this down a notch but the bottom line is Rocawear clothing is like the grand daddy of all hip hop and urban clothing brands. Besides, it’s not just the clothes even, it is also the stylish accessories that Rocawear has to offer that makes this brand all the more popular among the urban youth.

The hip hop elites support this brand royally and why shouldn’t they? I mean c’mon, with Jay-Z’s Roc-a-fella records having countless rap artists signed in, all the rappers are more than thrilled to endorse the brand. Quite recently, rap artist Ciara has signed in with Rocawear to be the brand’s new face. Although the brand started out with basic urban clothing, it soon evolved into an all apparel brand specializing in all kinds of urban merchandise like a fashion line for children, women, belts, handbags, sunglasses, jewelry, sneakers, sandals, lounge wear, caps, etc. So lets not get into the history of this brand much and start off with what Rocawear has to offer you guys and of course the ladies.
