His uniqueness doesn’t end with the mixing of reggaeton and merenque. Capitol Explains it like this, “I grew up loving the old school spanish my parents listened to in the Dominican and of course when I got into hip hop in high school, well I had to bring them together.”
At the ‘veteran’ age of 20, Capitol began his movement called ‘Reggacrunketon’. an inevetible mixing of hip-hop, merengue, reggaeton, salsa and even a little rock.
“I don’t want to be classified to one genre, I think my music is for everybody”.
And in this coming first quarter of 2009, Solanta Entertainment will release his first full album, CON-QUIEN. (Distributed by Select-O-Hits)
Capitol explains, “It’s got what people were asking me for, from dance to just straight crunk.”
