MyMutation online dance competition 2010

Due to the great success last year, The Sydney Opera House, Auatralia are running MyMutation online dance competition again in 2010!
They had over 250 000 visitors to our competition website in 2009, and had lots of creative entries.
It is part of our Spring Dance Festival, which runs from 31 August to 26 September.
You might already be aware from last year, MyMutation was a highly successful competition that was won by the very bubbly Emma Watkins.
This year, the choreographic challenge has been set by Kate Champion, director of the renowned Australian dance company Force Majeure and the starter solo is being performed by the very talented Josh Mu.

The competition is open to dancers of all ages and styles.
In Round 1, competitors will dance their interpretation of Joshs 20 second starter solo then they will need dance for a further 20 seconds in their own style.
Round 1 closes on 10 August and entries should be submitted in video format through our YouTube webpage.

There are some wonderful prizes for the 2010 winner, including a number of fantastic prizes from SONY, $2,000 cash and the opportunity to work with Kate and perform on the forecourt of Sydney Opera House on 26 September 2010.
