ENKORE Dance Competition – exclusive hip-hop dance showcase

LONG BEACH PERFORMING ARTS CENTER/ SMG WELCOME COMPETITIVE HIP-HOP SHOWCASE TO THE TERRACE THEATER

LONG BEACH, Calif. (September, 2010) ENKORE: The Dance Competition makes its debut at the Terrace Theater/Long Beach Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 16th, 2010, at 6PM. This event is a presentation of Kallusive, LLC.

ENKORE is an exclusive hip-hop dance showcase. Each act has been hand-picked on an invitation-only basis. The performers and crews have been selected based on their previous accomplishments and accolades.

World-renowned host Mookie of Hip-Hop International and VIBE Dance Competition will be the emcee for the night. He will be introducing the following confirmed acts:

- Kinjaz (formerly known as Anbu Black Ops)

- Choreo Cookies (San Diego)
- Kaba Modern (Irvine)
- Common Ground (Irvine)
- NSU Modern (Los Angeles)
- GRV (Pomona)
- Pac Modern* (Long Beach)

Battle Lineup:
- Toybox (Kinjaz) VS. Ritchie Ramirez (CSLA)
- D-Trix* (SoYouThinkYouCanDance) VS. Little Demon* (Step Up 3D)
- Jonah Aki* (Kaba Modern) VS. Anthony Lewis* (GRV)

Movement Lifestyle, a choreographer management company created by world-renowned dancer Shaun Evaristo, is teaming up with Kallusive to sell ENKORE: The Dance Competition t-shirts at the event. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Culture Shock LAs after-school dance outreach program for youth.

Pre-sale tickets are $25.00 and will be on sale starting September 16th, 2010, at 10am. Day of event tickets will be $30.00.
