Auditions for “DanceMachine!” movie produced by Mark R. Harris (“Crash”, “The Black Donnellys”, “Gods and Monsters”)

“DanceMachine!” is being produced by Mark R. Harris whose credits, to name a few, include “Crash”, “The Black Donnellys,” and “Gods and Monsters.”

Mr. Harris has developed a reputation for being a Hollywood innovator and has decided that instead of having the talent come to Hollywood, he wants Hollywood to come to the talent. “Not only will everyone have a fair and equal opportunity to showcase their talents and possibly land a role in DanceMachine!,” says Mark, “but also show the rest of the entertainment community what they can do.”

Casting for “DanceMachine!” is open for all acting, singing and dancing roles as well as choreographers, artists and musicians. Auditions may be submitted via the “DanceMachine!” web site,

What is “DanceMachine!” all about?

“DanceMachine!” is the story of High School friends who dream about being the best but each and every day have to deal with the real life pressures of being teenagers. Our main character, Perry, decides that despite the fact that he has two left feet and can barely walk, is determined to become the DanceMachine! champion and win the heart of the most popular girl in school. He’s going to need a lot of help, much more that his two hapless sidekicks Razmeek and MJ can muster. Enter Tamiko, an exotic Asian beauty with a mysterious past who arrives just in the nick of time to show Perry all the right moves.

Everyone has at least an idea about how a Hollywood motion picture is created. We all know that a movie usually starts as a simple story or idea and from that single creative spark it takes many, many talented people, working together to bring a movie to life.

For the movie, “DanceMachine” we’re doing something a little bit different; we’re looking well beyond Hollywood to find the “many, many talented people” that we will need. That’s right, we’re holding worldwide open auditions for all talent areas. It doesn’t matter if you’re a professional actor or if you’ve never been on stage before, if you have what we’re looking for we want you!

Usually, to participate in an open audition, you must go to wherever the audition is being held. In other words, you’d have to come to us – but instead, with iDanceMachine, we bring the audition to you.
